Composite has the edge for low maintenance in our wet climate; redwood and cedar are beautiful and local. We’ll walk you through the tradeoffs for your site and budget.
Do decks need permits in Humboldt County?
Most decks above a certain height require permits. We handle the permit process as part of the job.
Can you repair an existing deck instead of replacing it?
Often, yes — if the structure is sound we can replace decking and railings for far less than a rebuild. We’ll tell you straight which makes sense.
